On May 22nd and 23rd, 2004, Beijing Science and Technology Week and the large-scale Science
and Technology Garden Party were jointly held by China Association for Science and Technology
and Beijing Association for Science and Technology in Longtanhu Park.

The Garden Party focused on the theme of "People-Oriented Science and Technology,
Building a Well-off Society in an All-round Way" and the publication activity was developed
with the theme of "Scientific Bodybuilding, Running to the Olympics".
