Initiator ceremony of EinsteinĄ¯s exhibition of Miracles
and activities 0f scientific popularity was held in Beijing
on the morning of May 15th 2005. There were over three
hundred people who attended the opening ceremony, including
the leaders from Ministry of Science and Technology,Chinese
Academy of Sciences, Communist Youth League of China, National
childrenĄ¯s work coordination committee, Ministry ofEducation,
China Association of Science and Technology, diplomatic envoys
to china, academician members, the public and teachers and
students of all kinds.
It is for fifty years that Einstein has been death. It is
also the 100th anniversary of coming out of special theory
of relativity this year. UN General Assembly designated the
2005 as physical year of world to commemorate the two big days
in June last year. At present countries all over the world are
commemorating the greatest scientist who lived last century to
cherish the memory of his enormous contributions for mankind
in ways.
