A CAS delegation visits Belarus 

    A delegation headed by CAS Vice President Cao Jianlin visited 
Belarus from Sept. 12 to 16. The delegation consists of CAS experts 
in high technology. Its agenda included meetings with chairman of 
the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB) 
Mikhail V. Myasnikovich, the First Chairman of the Presidium Pyotr 
A. Vityaz, and scientists from 14 NASB institutions. The two sides 
signed a memorandum of understanding and reached consensus on 12 
priority areas for the future cooperation between CAS and seven 
NASB institutes.
