The 4th International Symposium on Cambrian System held in Nanjing

     NIGP geologists examine the Duibian section in western Zhejiang. This section was 
recommended as a potential GSSP (Global Boundary Stratotype Sections and Point) 
candidate at the 4th ISCS.

      Hosted by the CAS Nanjing Institute of Geology and Paleontology (NIGP) and other 
Chinese institutions, the Fourth International Symposium on Cambrian System (4th ISCS)
was held August 18-24 in Nanjing, capital city of east China's Jiangsu Province.
