At the 5th International Symposium on Sturgeon held recently in
Ramsar, Iran, a proposal to hold the 2009 symposium in Wuhan, capital
of central China's Hubei Province, was endorsed by the academic committee
of the meeting. The suggestion was initiated by Prof. Chang Jianbo from
the CAS Institute of Hydrobiology and Prof. Wei Qiwei from the Yangtze
River Fisheries Research Institute.
