CAS President Lu Yongxiang held talks with Dr. Albert Koers, newly-elected executive director of InterAcademy Council (IAC), on June 20 in Beijing.
IAC was created in 2000 by national science academies in the world to mobilize the world's best scientists for providing expert knowledge and advice to international bodies. Prof. Lu was elected IAC co-chair in this February.
