Dean of Harvard School of Government made honorary professor at CAS
|

On June 23, a ceremony was held at the Graduate School of the Chinese
Academy of Sciences (GSCAS) to bestow honorary professorship to Prof.
David T. Ellwood, dean of the John F. Kennedy School of Government,
Harvard University. CAS Executive Vice President Bai Chunli, who is also
President of GSCAS, attended the ceremony.
GSCAS is largest graduate school in Asia with nearly 30,000 students
currently studying there, among them and more than 50% are doctoral
candidates. In cooperation with various CAS institutes, it is on the cutting-edge in the fields of science and engineering.
Dr. David T. Ellwood's visit to GSCAS will further promote the cooperation
and exchange between CAS and Harvard University in the fields of public
administration and S&T strategy and policy.
