A CAS workshop on cooperation with West Europe held in Beijing
|

Under the auspices of the CAS Bureau of International Cooperation (BIC),
a workshop on the strategy for cooperation with the West Europe was held on
Sept 27 in Beijing. Chaired by Prof. Guo Huadong, vice secretary of CAS and
BIC director, the meeting was attended by highlevel officials from such
governmental departments as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of
Science and Technology, the National Natural Science Foundation of China,
and the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, as well as from
the CAS institutes. CAS President Lu Yongxiang delivered a speech at the
conference.
